BYLAW 2065-24
A BYLAW OF THE COUNTY OF NEWELL FOR THE PURPOSE OF CLOSING TO PUBLIC
TRAVEL AND LEASING PORTIONS OF A PUBLIC ROADWAY IN ACCORDANCE WITH
SECTION 22 OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ACT, REVISED STATUTES OF ALBERTA
2000, CHAPTER M-26, AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS, the lands hereafter described are no longer required for public travel, and
WHEREAS application has been made to Council to have the roadway closed, and
WHEREAS the Council of the County of Newell deems it expedient to provide for a bylaw for the
purpose of closing to public travel certain roads, or portions thereofsituated in the said municipality,
and thereafter LEASING of same, and
WHEREAS notice of the intention of Council to pass a bylaw has been given in accordance with
Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Newell in the Province of
Alberta does hereby close to public travel and offering the following described roadway for LEASE,
subject to rights of access granted by other legislation:
1. ALL THOSE PORTIONS OF GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE ADJACENT TO
MERIDIAN 4 RANGE 13 TOWNSHIP 18 SECTION 9 QUARTER SOUTH WEST (COT
181 075 455)
2. ALL THOSE PORTIONS OF GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE ADJACENT TO
MERIDIAN 4 RANGE 13 TOWNSHIP 18 SECTION 9 QUARTER NORTH WEST (COT
181 075 441)
3. ALL THOSE PORTIONS OF GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE ADJACENT TO
MERIDIAN 4 RANGE 13 TOWNSHIP 18 SECTION 8 QUARTER SOUTH EAST
QUARTER WHICH LIES TO THE NORTH AND EAST OF THE NORTH EASTERN
LIMIT OF THE ROADWAY SHOWN ON PLAN 593EZ (COT 091 360 455 +1)
4. ALL THOSE PORTIONS OF GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE ADJACENT TO
MERIDIAN 4 RANGE 13 TOWNSHIP 18 SECTION 8 ALL THAT PORTION OF THE
NORTH EAST QUARTER WHICH LIES TO THE NORTH AND EAST OF THE NORTH
EASTERN LIMIT OF THE ROADWAY SHOWN ON PLAN 593EZ (COT 091 360 455 +1)
