HomeMy WebLinkAbout2076-24 - 24 LUA 004 (Plan 6658FE Block A - A-GEN to A-SML)COUNTY OF NEWELL IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA BYLAW NO. 2076-24 BEING a bylaw of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta, to amend the Land Use Maps of Bylaw No. 2016-21, being the Land Use Bylaw; WHEREAS the Council of the County of Newell is in receipt of an application for a Land Use Bylaw Amendment to redesignate lands within the municipality as shown on the map in Schedule 'A' attached hereto and legally described as: A PORITON OF PLAN 6658FE THAT PORTION OF PARCEL A LYING WITHIN MERIDIAN 4 RANGE 14 TOWNSHIP 19 SECTION 31 QUARTER NORTH EAST CONTAINING 28.312 HECTARES (70.03 ACRES) MORE OR LESS EXCEPTING THEREOUT THAT PORTION OF PARCEL A DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS COMMENCING AT A POINT ON THE NORTH BOUNDARY OF SAID PARCEL A DISTANT 12 METRES EASTERLY THEREON FROM THE NORTH WEST CORNER THEREOF, THENCE SOUTHERLY AND AT RIGHT ANGLES THERETO 64 METRES, THENCE EASTERLY AND PARALLEL TO THE SAID NORTH BOUNDARY OF PARCEL A 64 METRES, THENCE NORTHERLY AND AT RIGHT ANGLES TO THE SAID NORTH BOUNDARY TO A POINT THEREON, THENCE WESTERLY THEREON TO THE POINT OF COMMENCEMENT CONTAINING 0.41 HECTARES (1.00 ACRE) MORE OR LESS EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND MINERALS AND WHEREAS the purpose of proposed Bylaw No. 2076-24 is to redesignate a portion of the above -noted lands from Agriculture, General District to Agriculture, Small Lot District to allow for the subdivision of an additional parcel out of a quarter section. AND WHEREAS the municipality must prepare an amending bylaw and provide for its consideration at a public hearing. NOW THEREFORE, under the authority and subject to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, Statutes of Alberta, Chapter M-26, 2000, as amended, the Council of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta duly assembled does hereby enact the following: 1. The Lands, illustrated on the map in Schedule 'A' and legally described above shall be redesignated. 2. The Land Use District Map shall be amended to reflect this redesignation. 3. Bylaw No. 2016-21 is hereby amended and consolidated. 4. This bylaw shall come into effect upon third and final reading hereof.
