14-21-17 W4M containing an existing farmstead.
The Supervisor of Planning and Development provided background information
on this item and responded to questions from MPC. MPC had a question about
one of the structures on the remnant parcel. The Planning and Development
Supervisor indicated that the structure in question has been removed. The
Supervisor of Planning and Development advised that the gas co-op condition is
standard for a property that will now potentially have two separate owners,
therefore requiring two separate meters. MPC questioned whether the existing
abandoned home should be removed. The Supervisor of Planning and
Development responded that the abandoned home does not need to be removed
at this time and it is considered legal nonconforming because it was constructed
prior to a land use bylaw being established.
