County of Newe 11 P:o , r County Council Meeting May 15, 1970 The regular Council Meeting of the County of idewell r.o. g was held in the Coun±y Office at Brooks, Alberta on Friday, May 15, 1970 at 10:00 a.m. Members Present Reeve J. Hajash Councillor G. Larsen-' V. Fabian' T, Musgrove.- C. Andrews- D. Hall- e. Bartlett" G. Douglass -- Mun. Sec. D. James The minutes of the April 10 Council Meeting were read and adopted. Moved by Councillor Larsen that we accept the Financial Report for the month o.f April. Carried. Correspondence: Y Letter from the Aiedicine Hat District Court re consolidation of debts order #3~ for Tony Y.uz was read and accepted by Council. Quotation from Reggin Industries Ltd. re servicing of office air conditioner was read. Moved by Councillor Hajash that we accept his tender for thestarting and shutting down of the air conditioner for $96.00 per year. Carried. Letter from Calgary Power Ltd. re proposed line extension in 13-19-15-~ was read. Moved by Councillor Hajash that we approve this application subject to all other regulations being met. Carried. Letter from Brown & Hogg Surveys Ltd. re proposed pipe line in Secs. 2,,3,9,10, & 16 in 19-1n-~ was read. Moved by Councillor Hajash that we accept this application subject to all other regu- lations being met and a final plan beinc submitted to this office. Carried. Letter from C.P.O.G. Ltd. re pipe line and road crossings for the Countess Gathering System was read. Moved by Councillor Hall that we approve this application subject to all other regulations bang met, and that the road crossing as marked on oux map be drilled. Carried. .Application 70 M 2~: from the P-iedicine Hat Planning Commissior: re Cornelsor, Ranches Ltd. was read. Moved by ':ouncillor Hajash that: we approve this application subject to a1_ ether requlatior.s being met. Carried. Application 70 M 25 from the N`~dicine Hat F'lannina Commission re A. Airth Gras read. Moved by Councillor Hall that we approve this application subject tc all other regulations being met. Carried. . . Application 70 h 28 from the P-fedicine Hat Planning Commission re Lakeside Feeders Ltd. was read. Moved by Councillor Hajash that we approve this application subject to no road being built by the County. Carried. % !/5 . Letter from the Medicine Hat Planning Commission re 1970 requisition in the amount of $750.00 was read. P•loved by Councillor Hall that we accept this requisition. Carried. Nominations were open for a member from the County to the Medicine Hat Planning Commission. J. Hajash nominated by V, Fabian, V, Fabian nominated by D, F-Iall. Cease by F. Bartlett. Carried. . . J. Carried, Letter from Gulf Gil Canada Ltci, re loading of tank cars at Patricia siding kras read. 2.loved by Councillor Alusgrove that we approve this application subject to all regulations being met. Carried. Letter from the Depsrtment of Youth re conference on recreation at the .°icDonald Hotel. on October 16-18, 1970 was read. The Secretary was advised to send this information to the various recreatior, boards within the Ccunty. Letter from the eastern Irrigation District re proposed ditch and request for right-of way in Block 1 Lots 5, 7, 8, 9, & 10 Plan x112 E-~ was read. f1s i~Ir. Hierholzer has an option to buy this property, it was moved by Councillor indrews that the full amount of the purchase price owing on this land, tr paid by .Ir. Hierholzer by June. 15, or sale will be cancelled. Carried. Statement from the Rolling Hills Water Users association was presented. Moved by Councillor Larsen that $200.00 be mid to the Rolling Hills JJater Association. Carried. Replication from I~.rs, Ellen Fieldberg of Tilley to lease and close the road allowance between the SW of 6_18-12-~! and the. NUJ of 31-17- 1.3-9 was read. Moved by Councillor Fabian that we advertise for the closing and leasing of this road way. Carried. . . application from Mr. rrelvin Field berg to close and lease the road allowance adjoing the west side of WZ 29_17_19-4 was read. Moved by Councillor Fabian that Ms. Fieldberg appear at the next Courcii meeting to discuss this matter further.
