Members present, Reeve N. A. Shuttleworth Councillors R. Chrumka, A. Eccles F. Mandeville Jos. Hajash R. Eastman G. Douglass Sec. Treas.H. Scammell The minutes of the previous meeting of September 13, 1963 were read and adopted. Moved by Councillor Eccles, that the Secretary's montly reports of receipts, payments, and montly progress for this month of September be accepted. Carried. Moved by Councillor Chrumka, that the Reeve and Secretary be authorized to sign the Surface Lease w~ h H. '~. Bass Inc. to drill on the Pt. NE. 34-20-13 4th. Carried. Moved by Councillor Mandeville, that authority be given W. R. Lokier to construct a Service Station on Pt. NTH 7-15-15=~W4th. providing it conforms in every way to all the Provincial regula- tions governing such installations. Carried. R letter from the Minister of Highways re the completion of the hard surfacing of Highway 36 Korth to the Red Deer River was read and ordered filed. A letter from the Foothills - Little Bow MunicipalA'Ssociation re annual meeting Oct. 28th, 1963 was read and ordered filed. A letter from the Eastern Irrigation District and Transfer applications for four bridges were read a~ld discussed. Rdjourned~f or Lunch 12; 30 to 2:00 pm. School Committee Moved by Councillor Eastman, that the report of the School Committee be accepted Carried. Moved by Councillor Eas~man that purchase be made of the North 150 feet of Lot 1, Block 6 osemary Plan No. 7711FF to complete the rose- mary 'School Gri6nnds Carried. Moved by Councillor Eastman, that the former ~Gabert Teacherage" and the small teacherage annex at Rosemary be offered for sale by Public Tender Carried. Agricultural Service Board. Move. by Councillor Eastman, that the report of the Agricultural Service Board be accepted. Carried.
