Councillor Hajash noted that a mouton had been omitted from the previous meeting as follows ~~Moved by Councillor Hajash~ that interest be charged J Olson in his purchase of the House from the County.~l Motion Lost. Moved by Councillor Hajash~ that the above motion be inserted in the minutes of the previous meeting. A letter from the Dept. of Mines and Minerals re the appointment of a member to the Surface Reclamation Board was ready The secretary advised that Mr. A. T. Johnson wished to be excused from his recent appointment by Council Moved by Councillor Shuttleworth~ that the affairs of the Surface Reclamation Board as they relate to anything pertaining to this County be dealt with by the Government Members of the Reclamation Council. A letter from the Field Crops Branch re the liability of Agric. Williamson for the sum of $500,00 cash. Carried. Letters from the Dept. of High~ays~ and the Highway Traffic Board re Load Limits were read and tabled for the Sept ember meeting A letter from the U. G. G. Insurance Agencies re County Insurance revision was read and ordered filed. Copies of correspondence between he.E. I. D. and the Department of Highways edge Hri ~~ed~id the County were distributed to each Councillor forstudy~ and discussion at a future meeting. A letter from the Department of Highways re the proposed reduced speed limit on the Brooks Access road was read. Moved by Councillor Chrumka~ that Bylaw 251 to provide for the reduction of the speed limit on the Brooks Access Road to 50 M.P.H. be given 1st reading. Carried. . . . . . . . . . .
