Moved by Councillor Hajash, that the Secretaryas report of Receipts, Payments and monthly progress for the month of October be accepted. Carried. • A • • • • ~i Moved by Councillor Shuttleworth, that the letter with I regard to Public Service Employees Pension Fund be ~1 tabled until the December meeting. l I I',; ~" Carried. . • . u Moved by Councillor Shuttleworth, that the road agree•» ment between the County and Bryce Stringam be approved, and the agreed sum of $1000.00 be paid on the undertaking being given by Stringam that the County be held free from any further claim by Mr. Stringam on account of this road allowance. Carried. . . • A letter from Tilley Mutual Telephone Co. re their lines crossing our road allowances was read. The Secretary was directed to advise the Telephone Co. that they would have to conform to the regulation covering Pipelines, viz 8 ft. below the surfzace of the adjoining ground level for a distance of 50 ft, each side from the centre of the road allowance, . . . Wherea s request has been made by the majority of the cattle owners of the County of Newell No. Q. to have the County established as a Brucellosis Restricted Area. And whereas, all of the primary steps to implement this has now been taken Now Therefore be it resolved that this County now apply to have the County of Newell No. 4 gazetted as a Federal Brucellosis Control Area.
