Members present: Councillors Sec - Treas. N.A. Shuttleworth A. Chrumka P. McAleese J. Hajash, Jr. R. Armstrong B. Plumer G. Douglass H. Scammell. All Councillors present were sworn and signed the declaration of Oath of Office. . . Moved by Councillor Douglass that Councillor Shuttle- worth be appointed County Chairman. Carried. . . Moved by Councillor McAleese, that Councillor Hajash be appointed Vice-Chairman for the County. Carried. Appointment of Committees Nominations for Municipal Committee P. McAleese by J. Hajash, Jr. G, Douglass by R. Armstrong N.A. Shuttleworth by P. McAleese R. Armstrong by G. Douglass. Moved by Councillor Hajash that nominations cease. Carried. . . There being only sufficient nominations, all were appointed by acclamation. Moved by Councillor McAleese, that Councillor Armstrong be appointed as Chairman of the Municipal Committee. Carried. Carried. . . Medicine Hat Health Unit No, l Councillor Chrumka was unanimously appointed to the Medicine Hat Health Unit No. 1. . . Civil Defence Committee Councillor Andrews was unanimously appointed as Civil Defence Director for the County. . . Nominations for A~'ricultural Service Board J. Hajash Jr. by A. As a result of 7 ballots casts the following were appointed to the Agricultural Service Board: Councillors C. Andrews R, Eastman. . . Moved by Councillor McAleese that Councillor Eastman be appointed Chairman of the Agricultural Service Board. Carried. . .
