r- Moved by Councillor Douglass that, because the County of Newell is the only rural
municipality in the Newell Regional Landfill Agreement and as rural residents generate

waste hauled to the Regional Landfill. Therefore, we would like the proposed agreement
between the County of Newell and the Newell Regional Solid Waste Management
Authority Limited approved at the next Regional Landfill Meeting. If the NRSWMAL
is not prepared to enter into this agreement at this time, we feel that they should begin
operation of the landfill immediately under the current agreement and if further changes
