BYLAW 1920-18
A BYLAW OF THE COUNTY OF NEWELL FOR THE PURPOSE OF CLOSING TO PUBLIC TRAVEL AND
SELLING OF PORTIONS OF A PUBLIC ROADWAY IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 22 OF THE
MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ACT, REVISED STATUTES OF ALBERTA 2000, CHAPTER M-26, AS
AMENDED.
WHEREAS, the lands hereafter described are no longer required for public travel,and
WHEREAS application has been made to Council to have the roadway closed,and
WHEREAS the Council of the County of Newell deems it expedient to provide for a bylaw for the purpose of
closing to public travel certain roads, or portions thereof situated in the said municipality, and thereafter
SELLING of same, and
WHEREAS notice of the intention of Council to pass a bylaw has been given in accordance with Section 606
of the Municipal Government Act,and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta
does hereby ciose to public travel and offering the following described roadway for SALE, subject to rights of
access granted by other legislation:
AREA 1
ALL THAT PORTION OF THE ORIGINAL GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE
ADJACENT TO THE EAST BOUNDARY OF THE
NORTHEAST QUARTER SECTION 1,
TOWNSHIP 15, RANGE 16, WEST OF THE 4T"MERIDIAN
WHICH LIES TO THE SOUTH OF THE NORTH EASTERLY PRODUCTION OF THE
SOUTH EASTERN LIMIT OF ROAD PLAN 001 0439 ACROSS SAID ROAD
ALLOWANCE
EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND MINERALS
AND THE RIGHT TO WORK THE SAME
CONTAIN/NG 0.715 HECTARES(1.77 ACRES)MORE OR LESS.
AREA 2
ALL THAT PORTION OF THE ORIGINAL GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE
ADJACENT TO THE EAST BOUNDARY OF THE
SOUTHEAST QUARTER SECTION 1,
