BYLAW 1953-19
A BYLAW OF THE COUNTY OF NEWELL FOR THE PURPOSE OF CLOSING TO PUBLIC TRAVEL AND
SALE OF PORTIONS OF A PUBLIC ROADWAY IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 22 OF THE
MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ACT, REVISED STATUTES OF ALBERTA 2000, CHAPTER M-26, AS
AMENDED.
WHEREAS, the lands hereafter described are no longer required for public travel, and
WHEREAS application has been made to Council to have the roadway closed,and
WHEREAS the Council of the County of Newell deems it expedient to provide for a bylaw for the purpose of
closing to public travel certain roads, or portions thereof situated in the said municipality, and thereafter
SELLING of same, and
WHEREAS notice of the intention of Council to pass a bylaw has been given in accordance with Section 606
of the Municipal Government Act, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta
does hereby close to public travel and offering the following described roadway for SALE, subject to rights of
access granted by other legislation:
PARCEL 1
ALL THAT PORTION OF NORTH/SOUTH AND EASTM/EST LANES
IN BLOCK 3, PLAN 1349 BA,
WHICH LIE TO THE SOUTH OF THE SOUTH L/MIT OF
LOT 29, BLOCK 7, PLAN 151 2326
EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND MINERALS
AND THE RIGHT TO WORK THE SAME
CONTAINING 0.057 HECTARES(0.14 ACRES)MORE OR LESS
PARCEL 2
ALL THAT PORTION OF ERSKINE STREET ON PLAN 1349 BA,
WHICH LIE TO THE SOUTH OF THE SOUTH LIMIT OF
LOT 29, BLOCK 7, PLAN 151 2326,
AND TO THE NORTH OF THE EASTERLY PRODUCTION OF
THE SOUTH LIMIT OF LOTS 1 TO 10, BLOCK 3, PLAN 1349 BA,
EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND MINERALS
AND THE RIGHT TO WORK THE SAME
CONTAINING 0.099 HECTARES(0.25 ACRES)MORE OR LESS
