HomeMy WebLinkAbout2028-22 AMENDMENT to Bylaw 1881-17 - Local Improvement - Tilley Infrastructure Upgrades - Phase 1 (Tax Rate)COUNTY OF NEWELL PROVINCE OF ALBERTA BYLAW 2028-22 BEING a bylaw of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta, to amend Bylaw 1881-17. WHEREAS, Bylaw 1881-17 is a bylaw authorizing the County of Newell to impose a local improvement tax in respect of all lands that directly benefit from the "Hamlet of Tilley Infrastructure Upgrades — Phase 1& 2", AND WHEREAS changes have been made to the number of benefitting parcels. NOW THEREFORE, under the authority and subject to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, Statutes of Alberta, Chapter M-26, 2000, as amended, the Council of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta duly assembled does hereby enact the following: Bylaw 1881-17, a bylaw authorizing the Council of the County of Newell to impose a local improvement tax in respect of all lands that benefit from the "Hamlet of Tilley Infrastructure Upgrades — Phase 1& 2" local improvement project, be amended by replacing Schedule A& B with the Schedule A& B attached to this amending bylaw. Bylaw 1881-17 is hereby amended. This bylaw shall come into effect upon third and final reading hereof. March 24, 2022 MOVED BY COUNCILLOR GREG SKRIVER that Bylaw 2028-22 receive FIRST reading.
