A Special Meeting of the Council of the County of Newell No. 4 was held
in the County Office in Brooks, Alberta at 8:00 p.m. Friday, November
26, 1965.

The Special Meeting was called in accordance with the motion passed
at the previous Council Meeting November 12, 1965 for the purpose of
considering Tenders for Gravel Crushing.
The Tenders received were as follows:
Willow Creek Sand & Gravel 56¢
Tollestrup Construction Co. 58.5 ¢
Zeller Construction Co. 85¢
Moved by Councillor Eccles, that the Tender of Willow Creek Sand & Gravel
Ltd., 56¢ per cubic yard be accepted.
Carried.

Moved by Councillor Grosfield, that this.Special Meeting be adjourned,
and that the Council reconvene to conduct regular County business.
Carried.
Moved by Councillor Armstrong, that the Secretary be directed to advise
the Town of Brooks that the County would waive $6000.00 of the County
Centennial Grant to the ~roolc» Arena Project.
Carried.

Moved by Councillor Armstrong, that application be made for Natural
Resources Grant to complete the Gem-Hutton road.
Carried.
Moved by Councillor Armstrong, .that action•with regard to the applications
for Contingency Grants be witheld until after the next Council Meeting
in December. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Dasuglass that representation be made to the Department
of Highway to have Highway 36 completed to the Red Deer River in 1966.

The meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Friday December 3rd
1965 to consider the tenders for the New Office Building.
