By-law No. 1019-90
A By-law of the County of Newell No. 4, in the Province of Alberta,
to authorize the entering into of an Agreement with the Alberta
Local Authorities Reciprocal Insurance Agreement, providing of a
Power of Attorney to ALARIE Attorney In Fact Ltd., being the attorney
in fact for the exchange; and
Whereas Section 114 of the Municipal Government Act (Revised Statutes
of Alberta 1980 as amended) authorizes a municipality to enter into
such an agreement and provide power of attorney; and
Whereas the Council of the County of Newell No. 4, by resolution
dated the 10th day of April, 1990 authorized the entering into of
such an agreement and provided a power of attorney; and
Whereas the Council now wishes to confirm the execution of the said
agreement and power of attorney by by-law

Now therefore the County of Newell No. 4, duly assembled, hereby
enacts as follows:
1. That the resolution of Council, attached as schedule A, dated
the 10th day of April, 1990 to enter into an agreement and provide
a power of attorney is hereby confirmed; and
2. This by-law shall come into effect on the date of its third and
final reading.
