- IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
BYLAW NO. 1631-08
BEING a bylaw of the County of Newell No. 4 in the Province of Alberta, to rescind the following bylaws:
No. 1378-02, being the Young Road Area Structure Plan;
No. 1379-02, being the One Tree Road Area Structure Plan;
No. 1449-04, being the John Ware Trail Area Structure Plan;
No. 1450-04, being the Highway 542 Area Structure Plan;
No. 1451-04, being the North of the Town of Brooks Area Structure Plan; and
No. 1452-04, being the East Silver Sage Area Structure Plan;
AND WHEREAS the Council has agreed to develop a planning strategy to address fringe land use issues
and matters of mutual concern with the City of Brooks and have identified that the established framework
for subdivision and development within the boundaries of these area structure plans may not be consistent
with the new planning strategy;
AND WHEREAS the purpose of Bylaw 1631-08 is to rescind the area structure plans in order to facilitate
the preparation of an intermunicipal development plan with the City of Brooks;
AND WHEREAS the municipality must prepare a bylaw to rescind the previously adopted bylaws in
accordance with section 191 (2) and provide for its consideration at a public hearing;
NOW THEREFORE, under the authority and subject to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act,
Statutes of Alberta, Chapter M-26, 2000, as amended, the Council of the County of Newell No. 4 in the
_ Province of Alberta duly assembled does hereby enact the following:
Bylaw No. 1378-02, being the Young Road Area Structure Plan;
Bylaw No. 1379-02, being the One Tree Road Area Structure Plan;
Bylaw No. 1449-04, being the John Ware Trail Area Structure Plan;
Bylaw No. 1450-04, being the Highway 542 Area Structure Plan;
Bylaw No. 1451-04, being the North of the Town of Brooks Area Structure Plan; and
Bylaw No. 1452-04, being the East Silver Sage Area Structure Plan;
and any amendments thereto, are hereby rescinded.
2. This bylaw shall come into effect upon third and final reading hereof.
