IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
BYLAW NO. 1730 -11
BEING a bylaw of the County of Newell No. 4 in the Province of Alberta, to adopt Bylaw No. 1730 -11, to
amend the County of Newell No. 4 and City of Brooks Intermunicipal Development Plan (County Bylaw
No. 1656 -09 and City Bylaw No. 09/04).
WHEREAS the municipality is in receipt of a request to amend Map 3: CFO Exclusionary Area to remove
lands from within the boundary to facilitate the development of a new confined feeding operation;
AND WHEREAS lands subject to amendment are as shown on the map in Schedule 'A' attached hereto
and legally described as:
E /2 of Section 10, Township 18, Range 14, West of the 4 Merdian
All of Section 11, Township 18, Range 14, West of the 4 Merdian
W1/2 of Section 12, Township 18, Range 14, West of the 4 Merdian
AND WHEREAS the purpose of proposed Bylaw No. 1730 -11 is to adopt a new boundary for the CFO
Exclusionary Area in consultation the City of Brooks;
AND WHEREAS the municipality must prepare a corresponding bylaw and provide for its consideration at
a public hearing.
NOW THEREFORE, under the authority and subject to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act,
Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, Chapter M -26 as amended, the Council of the County of Newell No. 4 in
the Province of Alberta duly assembled does hereby enact the following:
1. The lands legally described as E 1 /2 of Section 10, Township 18, Range 14, West of the 4th Merdian'
All of Section 11, Township 18, Range 14, West of the 4th Merdian, and W 1/2 of Section 12,
Township 18, Range 14, West of the 4th Merdian shall be removed from the CFO Exclusionary
Area.
2. Map 3 shall be amened to reflect the removal of the subject lands.
3. This bylaw comes into effect upon third and final reading hereof.
