IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
BYLAW NO. 1753 -12
BEING a bylaw of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta, to rescind the following
bylaw:
Bylaw No. 1712 -10 — Economic Development/Tourism Committee, Establishment of
WHEREAS Bylaw 1712 -10 is a bylaw to establish an Economic Development/Tourism
Committee for the County of Newell;
AND WHEREAS the County of Newell has approved the recommendation from the Economic
Development/Tourism Committee to restructure the committee and proceed with the Newell
Regional Economic Development Initiative, which will involve the County of Newell, the City of
Brooks, the Town of Bassano, the Villages of Duchess, Rosemary, and Tilley, and the Eastern
Irrigation District;
NOW THEREFORE, under the authority and subject to the provisions of the Municipal
Government Act, Statutes of Alberta, Chapter M -26, 2000, as amended, the Council of the
County of Newell in the Province of Alberta duly assembled does hereby enact the following:
1. Bylaw 1712 -10, being a bylaw to establish an Economic Development/Tourism
Committee for the County of Newell, is hereby rescinded.
2. This bylaw shall come into effect upon third and final reading hereof.
