IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
BYLAW NO. 1754 -12
BEING a bylaw of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta, to rescind the following
bylaw:
Bylaw No. 1300 -99 — Access to Information
WHEREAS Bylaw 1300 -99 is a bylaw for establishing access to information and setting fees for
this information.
AND WHEREAS the fee related information included Bylaw 1300 -99 has been updated in Bylaw
1738 -11, which is referred to as the Schedule of Fees bylaw, and other provisions of Bylaw
1300 -99 are superceded by the Government of Alberta Freedom of Information & Protection of
Privacy (FOIPP) Act;
AND WHEREAS Council deems it desirable to rescind bylaws that are no longer required;
NOW THEREFORE, under the authority and subject to the provisions of the Municipal
Government Act, Statutes of Alberta, Chapter M -26, 2000, as amended, the Council of the
County of Newell in the Province of Alberta duly assembled does hereby enact the following:
1. Bylaw 1300 -99, being a bylaw for establishing access to information and setting fees for
this information, is hereby rescinded.
2. This bylaw shall come into effect upon third and final reading hereof.
