HomeMy WebLinkAbout1809-14 Rescind Bylaws (Village of Tilley)COUNTY OF NEWELL IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA BYLAW NO. 1809-14 BEING a bylaw of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta, to rescind bylaws of the former Village of Tilley. WHEREAS the Village of Tilley was dissolved into the Hamlet of Tilley under the authority of the County of Newell by Order in Council 250/2013; AND WHEREAS Council deems it desirable to rescind bylaws that are no longer required. NOW THEREFORE, under the authority and subject to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, Statutes of Alberta, Chapter M-26, 2000, as amended, the Council of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta duly assembled does hereby enact the following: The following bylaws are hereby rescinded: • Bylaw 3 passed in 1953 (Speed Limit) • Bylaw 81-1964 (Trailer Park, Establishment of) • Bylaw 144 passed in 1974 (Setback Requirements) • Bylaw 170 passed in 1976 (Development Control) • Bylaw 224/82 (Streets, Use of) • Bylaw 343/97 (Off -Highway Vehicles — Emergency Personnel) • Bylaw 349/97 (Street Traffic & Parking, Regulation of) • Bylaw 06/12 (Community Standards) passed in August 2012 • Amendment to Bylaw 06/12 (Community Standards) passed in February 2013 This bylaw shall come into effect upon third and final reading hereof.
