BYLAW No. 1822-15
A BYLAW OF THE COUNTY OF NEWELL, IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA, TO
AMEND BYLAW 1786-13 HAMLET OF SCANDIA LAGOON LOCAL IMPROVEMENT
BORROWING BYLAW.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Newell on January 23, 2014 duly passed Bylaw
1786-13 authorizing the issuance of debentures; and
WHEREAS, changes have been made to the final costs attributable to the local
improvement project,
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the County of Newell duly assembled hereby makes the
following amendments to Bylaw 1786-13:
1. The said bylaw is amended by deleting Section (3) as it currently reads and
replacing it with "Plans and specifications have been prepared. The total cost of the
project is estimated to be $2,099,248 with the following contributions to be received
or applied to the project:
1) Benefiting Owners (Revenue raised by local improvement tax): $ 449,776
2) Provincial Grants: $1,451,254
3) County of Newell at Large $ 198.218
TOTAL: $2,099,248"
2. This bylaw comes into force on the date of final reading.

Bylaw 1822-15 to receive third reading this 12th day of February,
2015. MOTION CARRIED
