BYLAW 1890-17
A BYLAW OF THE COUNTY OF NEWELL FOR THE PURPOSE OF CLOSING TO PUBLIC TRAVEL AND
LEASING OF PORTIONS OF A PUBLIC ROADWAY IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 22 OF THE
MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ACT, REVISED STATUTES OF ALBERTA 2000, CHAPTER M-26, AS
AMENDED.
WHEREAS, the lands hereafter described are no longer required for public travel,and
WHEREAS application has been made to Council to have the roadway closed, and
WHEREAS the Council of the County of Newell deems it expedient to provide for a bylaw for the purpose of
closing to public travel certain roads, or portions thereof situated in the said municipality, and thereafter
LEASING of same, and
WHEREAS notice of the intention of Council to pass a bylaw has been given in accordance with Section 606
of the Municipal Government Act, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta
does hereby close to public travel and offering the following described roadway for LEASE, subject to rights
of access granted by other legislation:

A PORTION OF THE OR/GINAL GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE
ADJACENT TO THE WEST BOUNDARY OF SECTION 13
TOWNSHIP 15 RANGE 15 WEST OF THE FOURTH MER/D/AN
EXCLUD/NG ALL MINES AND M/NERALS
CONTAINING 3.24 HECTARES(8.00 ACRES)MORE OR LESS.
PARCEL 2
A PORTION OF THE ORIGINAL GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE
ADJACENT TO THE WEST BOUNDARY OF SOUTH WEST SECT/ON 24
TOWNSH/P 15 RANGE 95 WEST OF THE FOURTH MER/D/AN
EXCLUDING ALL M/NES AND M/NERALS
CONTA/N/NG 1.62 HECTARES(4.00 ACRES)MORE OR LESS

A PORTION OF THE ORIGINAL GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE
