County of Newell No. 4
Fourteenth Annual Meeting
March 4th, 1967
The Fourteenth Annual Meeting of the County of Newell No. 4 was held
in the Elk's Hall in Brooks, Alta. at 2.:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 1967.
All members of the County Council were present, with the Secretary-
Treasurer, School Supt. and Agricultural Fieldman.
Approximately 40 Taxpayers were in attendance.
Mr. Phil Duby was appointed as Chairman of the meeting by acclamation.
Moved by Mr. Chrumka & seconded, that H. Scammell be appointed as
Secretary for the meeting.
Carried.
ARM ',
Moved by Joe Hajash & seconded, that the proposed agenda for the
meeting be approved.
Carried.
Moved by John Wolfe & seconded that the minutes of the previous
Annual Meeting be adopted as read.
Carried.
The report of the School Supt. was discussed.
Carried.
,Moved by Faul Bartlett & seconded that the report of the School Supt.
be accepted.
Carried.
Moved by Mr. Wester & seconded that the Auditors Financial Statement
be accepted and discussed page by page.
Carried.
Moved by John Wolfe & seconded that the Auditors Financial Statement be
adopted.
Carried.
Moved by Frank Bergen & seconded that the Inspectors report be accepted.
Carried.
Moved by Joe Hajash & seconded that the report of the Agricultural
Fieldman be accepted.
Carried.
New Business
Moved by Don Grosfield & seconded that the Council take steps to give
more publicity to the County business, and consider the publishing of
ti~,T~9 ~ the County minutes in the local paper.

;be given to the local populace that will use the roads, rather than the

definitely opposed to the assessment of Farm Buildings.
