IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
BYLAW NO. 2037-22
BEING a bylaw of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta, to amend the Land Use Maps
of Bylaw No. 2016-21, being the Land Use Bylaw;
WHEREAS the Council of the County of Newell is in receipt of an application for a Land Use
Bylaw Amendment to redesignate lands within the municipality as shown on the map in Schedule
`A' attached hereto and legally described as:
A PORTION OF
MERIDIAN 4 RANGE 14 TOWNSHIP 20
SECTION 6
QUARTER SOUTH EAST
CONTAINING 64.7 HECTARES (160 ACRES) MORE OR LESS
EXCEPTING THEREOUT:
A) THE MOST SOUTHERLY 121 METRES OF THE MOST
EASTERLY 200 METRES THROUGHOUT THE SAID SOUTH EAST QUARTER
CONTAINING 2.42 HECTARES (5.977 ACRES) MORE OR LESS.
B) PLAN NUMBER HECTARES ACRES MORE OR LESS
SUBDIVISION 0713952 0.78 1.93
EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND MINERALS
AND THE RIGHT TO WORK THE SAME
AND WHEREAS the purpose of proposed Bylaw No. 2037-22 is to redesignate the above-noted
lands from Agriculture, General District to Residential, Rural District to allow for a residential
subdivision.
AND WHEREAS the municipality must prepare an amending bylaw and provide for its
consideration at a public hearing.
NOW THEREFORE, under the authority and subject to the provisions of the Municipal
Government Act, Statutes of Alberta, Chapter M-26, 2000, as amended, the Council of the County
of Newell in the Province of Alberta duly assembled does hereby enact the following:
1. The Lands, illustrated on the map in Schedule `A' and legally described above shall be
redesignated.
2. The Land Use District Map shall be amended to reflect this redesignation.
3. Bylaw No. 2016-21 is hereby amended and consolidated.
4. This bylaw shall come into effect upon third and final reading hereof.
