BYLAW 2059-23
A BYLAW OF THE COUNTY OF NEWELL FOR THE PURPOSE OF CLOSING TO PUBLIC
TRAVEL AND LEASING PORTIONS OF A PUBLIC ROADWAY IN ACCORDANCE WITH
SECTION 22 OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ACT, REVISED STATUTES OF ALBERTA
2000, CHAPTER M-26, AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS, the lands hereafter described are no longer required for public travel, and
WHEREAS application has been made to Council to have the roadway closed, and
WHEREAS the Council of the County of Newell deems it expedient to provide for a bylaw for the
purpose of closing to public travel certain roads, or portions thereof situated in the said
municipality, and thereafter LEASING of same, and
WHEREAS notice of the intention of Council to pass a bylaw has been given in accordance with
Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Newell in the Province
of Alberta does hereby close to public travel and offering the following described roadway for
LEASE, subject to rights of access granted by other legislation:
1. THE MOST NORTHEN 650 METERS OF GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE
ADJACENT TO MERIDIAN 4 RANGE 18 TOWNSHIP 21 SECTION 28 QUARTER
SOUTH EAST
2. ALL THOSE PORTIONS OF GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE ADJACENT TO
MERIDIAN 4 RANGE 18 TOWNSHIP 21 SECTION 28 QUARTER NORTH EAST
3. ALL THOSE PORTIONS OF GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE ADJACENT TO
MERIDIAN 4 RANGE 18 TOWNSHIP 21 SECTION 33 QUARTER SOUTH EAST
4. ALL THOSE PORTIONS OF GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE ADJACENT TO
MERIDIAN 4 RANGE 18 TOWNSHIP 21 SECTION 33 QUARTER NORTH EAST
