HomeMy WebLinkAboutCSSB Steps for SubmissionCSSB Steps for Submission The CSSB requires interested parties to register in order to submit a comment on the documents. 1. To upload a written response to the standards you have to create an account. 2. Go to this website and create an account: https://www.frascanada.ca/en/my- account/login?r=%2fen%2fcssb%2fsubmit- comment%3fdocname%3dCSSB%2520CSDS1%2520EN 3. The form will ask you for your name and email address and then it will send you a confirmation link to your email. 4. Click on the confirmation link and it will take you to the page for creating a password. Create a password. 5. It will then open to your account and ask if you'd like to sign up to their newsletter. 6. Logout 7. Your account has been created and is ready for submitting comment letters. 8. When you're ready to upload your letters, sign in to your FRAS Canada account. 9. Once signed in, scroll to the bottom and click on "Canadian Sustainability Disclosure Standards" 10. Click on "Documents for Comment" 11. Click on "CSSB Exposure Draft – Proposed Canadian Sustainability Disclosure Standard (CSDS) 1, General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information ". 12. Scroll to the middle where it says, "How to Reply"; click on "via our online form"; choose file and upload the “Comment on CSDS 1 and CSDS 2” file or whatever you have called the file. You should make the file unique to you. 13. Select "Make Public" if you want others to see what you wrote (I highly recommend doing this, otherwise if "private" your viewpoint will be collated with others and no one will know how many people/organizations were against the standards. 14. Please note they use 3rd party software to analyze the responses. 15. Click Submit. 16. Go back and repeat steps 10 through 15. For the CSSB Exposure Draft – Proposed Canadian Climate-related Disclosure Standard (CSDS) 2, you can submit the same letter, "Comment on CSDS 1 and CSDS 2" or whatever you have called the file. You should make the file unique to you. It's important to send the comments to both so that it will be registered for both. 17. When you're finished uploading the documents go to the top of the screen and click on the three horizontal bars on the top left and choose "logout".
