Notice is hereby given:
That an election will be held for the filling of the following offices:

Councillor 1 Division 4
Councillor 1 Division 8
Advance Poll Voting will take place on the 4th & 15th of October 2025, between the hours of 10:00 am
and 6:00 pm. The voting station will be located at:
COUNTY OF NEWELL OFFICE 183037 Range Road 145 ½ mile south of the Centennial Regional Arena Section 53 of the Local Authorities Election Act outlines identification requirements for local elections.
Proof of identity and current residence is required to be able to vote in municipal elections. A resident can vote if their name is on the Permanent Electors Register and they produce one piece of identification issued by a Canadian government, whether federal, provincial, or local, or an agency of that
government, that contains a photograph of the person.
(Check your registration status or register to vote online at: https://www.voterlink.ab.ca) Residents not on the Permanent Electors Register can vote if they fill out the prescribed Form 13 (available at the voting station) and produce at least one piece of identification that has a photograph and a residential address (not a PO Box).
