Rolling Hills Agricultural Society
Purchase of the Rolling Hills Post Office Facility Structure
Pursuant to Section 264(2) of the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. c.M-26, as amended, the Council of
the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta, hereby gives notice of its intention to consider adoption of
proposed Bylaw No. 2116-26, being the Rolling Hills Agricultural Society purchase of the Rolling Hills Post
Office Facility Structure.
The purpose of the proposed Bylaw is to authorize a loan, sourced from County of Newell unrestricted net
assets, to the Rolling Hills Agricultural Society for the purchase of the structure which houses the Rolling
Hills Post Office. which is located at 108 – 3rd Street, Rolling Hills, Alberta.
Take notice that the electors may submit a separate petition with respect to this bylaw calling for a vote of
the electors to determine whether the proposed bylaw should be passed. The petition must meet the formal
requirements of Sections 221-226 of the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. c.M-26, and be filed with the
County of Newell CAO no later than 4:30 p.m. on April 17, 2026.

Newell Administration Office, 183037 Rge. Rd. 145 and online at the municipal website
