HomeMy WebLinkAbout2124-26 26 LUA 002 (NW & SW 6-19-14-W4 - A-GEN to A-SML)COUNTY OF NEWELL IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA BYLAW NO. 2124-26 BEING a bylaw of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta, to amend the Land Use Map of Bylaw No. 2016-21, being the Land Use Bylaw; WHEREAS the Council of the County of Newell is in receipt of an application for a Land Use Bylaw Amendment to redesignate lands within the municipality as shown on the map in Schedule 'A' attached hereto and legally described as: F-11000.1001► 1 150TO MERIDIAN 4 RANGE 14 TOWNSHIP 19 SECTION 6 THAT PORTION OF THE NORTH WEST QUARTER WHICH LIES TO THE NORTH AND WEST OF THE NORTHERLY AND NORTH WESTERLY LIMITS OF THE CANAL RIGHT OF WAY ON PLAN IRR1230 CONTAINING 61.5 HECTARES (152 ACRES) MORE OR LESS EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND MINERALS AND MERIDIAN 4 RANGE 14 TOWNSHIP 19 SECTION 6 THAT PORTION OF THE SOUTH WEST QUARTER WHICH LIES TO THE NORTH AND WEST OF THE NORTH WESTERLY LIMIT OF THE CANAL RIGHT OF WAY ON PLAN IRR1230 CONTAINING 2.75 HECTARES (6.8 ACRES) MORE OR LESS EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND MINERALS CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NUMBER 201 227 487 +6 AND WHEREAS the purpose of proposed Bylaw No. 2124-26 is to redesignate the above -noted lands from A-GEN Agriculture, General District to A-SML Agriculture, Small Lot District to allow for a subdivision. AND WHEREAS the municipality must prepare an amending bylaw and provide for its consideration at a public hearing. NOW THEREFORE, under the authority and subject to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, Statutes of Alberta, Chapter M-26, 2000, as amended, the Council of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta duly assembled does hereby enact the following: 1. The Lands, illustrated on the map in Schedule 'A' and legally described above shall be redesignated. 2. The Land Use District Map shall be amended to reflect this redesignation. 3. Bylaw No. 2016-21 is hereby amended and consolidated. 4. This bylaw shall come into effect upon third and final reading hereof.
