BYLAW 2111-26
A BYLAW OF THE COUNTY OF NEWELL FOR THE PURPOSE OF CLOSING FOR PUBLIC TRAVEL AND LEASING
PORTIONS OF A PUBLIC ROADWAY IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 22 OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT
ACT, REVISED STATUTES OF ALBERTA 2000, CHAPTER M-26, AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS, the lands hereafter described are no longer required for public travel, and
WHEREAS application has been made to Council to have the roadway closed, and
WHEREAS the Council of the County of Newell deems it expedient to provide for a bylaw for the purpose of closing to
public travel certain roads, or portions thereof situated in the said municipality, and thereafter LEASING of same, and
WHEREAS notice of the intention of Council to pass a bylaw has been given in accordance with Section 606 of the
Municipal Government Act, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta does hereby
close to public travel and offering the following described roadway for LEASE, subject to rights of access granted by other
legislation:
ALL THOSE PORTIONS OF GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE ADJACENT TO THE
MERIDIAN 4 RANGE 12 TOWNSHIP 20
SECTION 28 QUARTER NORTH EAST
EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND MINERALS
AND THE RIGHT TO WORK THE SAME
AREA: 64.7 HECTARES (160 ACRES) MORE OR LESS (COT 091 060 504 +1)
AND
ALL THOSE PORTIONS OF GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE ADJACENT TO THE
MERIDIAN 4 RANGE 12 TOWNSHIP 20
SECTION 28 QUARTER SOUTH EAST
EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND MINERALS
AND THE RIGHT TO WORK THE SAME
AREA: 64.7 HECTARES (160 ACRES) MORE OR LESS (COT 091 060 504 +1)
AND
ALL THOSE PORTIONS OF GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE ADJACENT TO THE
MERIDIAN 4 RANGE 12 TOWNSHIP 20
SECTION 33 QUARTER SOUTH EAST
EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND MINERALS
AND THE RIGHT TO WORK THE SAME
