James Nmtice of Special Meeting was read to Council and is attached to, and forms part of these Minutes. Tenders were ®pened on the bid for two M®tmr Graders, Companies represented, and salesmen in. attendance from these Companies were: Vulcan Equipment R. Angus Co. Ltd. Purvis Ritchie Coneco Equipment Ferguson Supply Co. Ltd. List of tenders attached to, and forming part of these Minutes. . . Moved by Councillor Larsen that we purchase two new Champion Mtter Graders and trade the #12 Cat. and Champion D562 Niotor Grader from Ferguson Supply Co. Ltd. for a total package price of $55,950.00. Carried. . . ~'~. ~,~'~ Norm Chelte met with the Committee to discuss construction. surveys '~ ': for 1971. Moved by Councillor Janzen that we hire N. Chelte for a minimum of 800 hrs. at $5.50~hr. for the 1971 Survey Program, subject to his acceptance of this offer. Carried. . . Moved by Councillor Andrews that the A:eeting be opened for the discussion of other business. Carried Unanimously. . . Moved by Councillor Andrews that Road Agreements on the Kleenbirn. Collierie Road from Kleenbirn Collieries and the Eastern Trrigation District be approved. Carried. . . Mov®d by Councillor Fabian. that we approve expenses of mileage and meals for George Philpott who will be attending one day of the A.S.B. Conference in Edmonton on March 10. Carried. . . Moved by Councillor Larsen. that due to the A.S.B. Conference being held on. March 10, 11 & 12 that the March Council Meeting be held on March 15. Carried. . . Application. 71 M 9 re: Monroe SW 23-21-17~ from the Medicine Hat Planning Commission was read. Moved by Councillor Hall that we approve this application subject to all other regulations being met.
