Minutes of the November 10, 1970 f+Ieeting were read anal adopted.
Moved by Councillor Tautfest that the motion. of November 10 re:
pay to M. Meidinger for Bus #5 be amended b,y deleting 'Bus #5'
and adding 'Route #5, Bassano-Rosemary Trip'. Carried.

Moved by Councillor Hall that we accept the minutes of the Organ-
izational Meeting as presented. Carried.

Moved by Councillor Tautfest that we accept the Financial Report
for the month of November. Carried.

Mr. Herman Grosfield met with the Council to discuss matters
regarding the Agricultural Advisory Committee.

and that an allowance for future service road on the South of
this sub-division be provided. Carried.

Letter from the Minister of Municipal Affairs re penalties on
outstanding Home Owner Discounts that remained unpaid at Narch 1
of last year, was read. Moved by Councillor Bartlett that we
cancel the penalties in the amount of $4.00 in the name of
C.R. Daniels of Rolling Hills on the Sw 35-14-14-4. Carried.
Letter from the Department of Municipal Affairs re payment of
1968 Home Ownex Tax Discount was read and the Secretary advised
to forward this information. to the press.

Letter from the Department of Lands & Forests re proposed
Government regulations for operation of lakes and restrictions
placed on these was read. Moved by Councillor Bartlett that we
advise the Department that we wish to declare the County a
regulation-free area for boating restrictions on lakes. Carried.

Transport Commission on the C.P.R. Passenger service was read and
ordered filed.

59.000 lbs. be rescinded until further study is made of this

Moved by Councillor Tautfest that we guarantee the Rosemary Potato
Growers assurance that the road from the Rosemary C.P.R. Crossing
on the Old #1 east to #36 Highway will have a load limit set up
on it in order that they may haul 72,000 lb. loads on this road.

Moved by Councillor Larsen that we approve the purchase of~_~ WW
Portable Scale from the F.U.A. Co-op for the approximate~f
$1000.00 and that rental rates be set up for this scale. Carried.
