The minutes of the Court of Revision vrere presented and adopted.

Moved by Councillor Tautfest that we accept the Financial Report
for the month of February. Carried.

Correspondence:
Letter from the Alberta Municipal Financing Corporation re: Annual
Meeting to be held on April 6, 1970 was read and ordered filed.

Letter from the Department of Municipal Affairs re: Purchase of
land by Springside Hutterian Brethern was read. I~loved by Councillor
Bartlett that we approve this request. Carried.

Letter from the Brooks Chamber of Commerce re: lmprovements to
the Brooks Rodeo Grounds was read. Moved by Councillor Hajash
that no County support be given to this project. Carried,

Letter from the Bridge Branch re: Bridge Request in SSE 13-21-17-
was read. Moved by Councillor Hall that we request the .I.D, to
install this culvert. Carried.
Letter from D.G. Msthieu, Consulting Engineering Ltd., re: Roser.~ary
Gas Co-op Ltd, was read. Ivioved by Councillor Tautfest that i:~e approve
their application subject to all other regulations b=ing met. Carried.

Letter from Alberta Gas Trunk Line re: application for approval of
the 1970 plains division loop program was read. Ivioved by Councillor
Bartlett that we approve this a pplica~ion subject to all other
regulations being met. Carried,

Moved by Councillor Larsen that we approve the Agriculture Tentative
Agreement for 1970. Carried.

Moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve the expenses of Mr. V.
Lawrence to attend the Assessor's Convention in Lethbridge during
April. Carried.

Letter from the Canadian National Institute for the Blind requesting
donations for 1970 was read. Moved by Councillor Hall that we
approve a $100.00 donation to the Institute. Carried.

Moved by Councillor Hall that by-law 399 re: Donation to the
Canadian National Institute for the Blind for $100.00 donation for
1970 receive first, second, third and final reading. Carried unanimous.

Moved by Councillor Tautfest that by-law 395 re: Donation to the
Salvation Army in that amount of $300.00 receive third and final
reading. Carried Unanimously.

Moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve a further two year lease
to the Farm Credit Corporation for the rent of the basement office
at the same rental rate. Carried.

Application for renewal for Road AlloVrance Lease from C.R. Modally
of Rolling Hills was presented. Moved by Councillor Larsen that
we approve the renewal of this lease at a price of $10.00 per year.
Carried.
Moved by Councillor Andrews that we file the request for the binding
of our old Minute Books. Carried.

Moved by Councillor Hall that by-law 400 re: the establishment of the
Bassano and District Recreation Board receive receive first, second,
third and final reading. Carried unanimously.

Moved by Councillor Larsen that by-law 401 re: the establishment of
the Rolling Hills Becxeation Board receive first, second, third and
final reading. Carried unanimously.
. .
Moved by Councillor Larsen that we approve the Recreation Board as
set out in the letter of December 11, 1969 from the Rolling Hills
Recreation Area. Carried.

Moved by Councillor A ndrews that we approve the purchase of a piano
for the Jenny Lind School for the cost of $425.00. Carried.
. .
Moved day Councillor Hajash that we send a wire to the Minister of
Agriculture setting out the County's feelings and position as to the
recent Government policy as to wheat reduction for 1970. Carried
unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
