County Council
I~Iarcr. 8th, 1956,
The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the County of
Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office in Brooks, Alberta,
at 10:C0 a.m. on Thursday, March 8th, 1956.

This meeting was held one day ahead of the usual meeting day
by the unanimous consent of the Councillors, to enable them to
attend the Agricultural Short Course Fridays, March 9th, 1956.

The minutes of the meeting of February 18th, 1956 were read
and adopted,

Revenue and expenditure for the month of February be accepted.

A letter from One Tree F«U«A, re Weather Modification and Hail
Suppression was read and ordered filed.

' Iyloved by Councillor McAleese, that the resolution of the Bindloss
Chamber of Commerce be concurred in, and it be amended to include
that part of the old No« 1 Highway from Highway 36 to where it
joins the Trans Canada Highway east of Bassano.

Moved by Councillor--Arrisor~ that no payment be made to ~'.
Barabash, principal of Rolling Hills school, for transporting
students to sports events.

to do observatory practice teaching for the month of May.
