Mathiesen was awarded damages in his recent claim. ,

The report and account of the Consulting Engineer, Mr.
White was read and discussed, the account was authorized
to be paid, and the report referred to the School Committee.

Moved by Councillor Waraksa that the Secretary be authorized
to redeem the purchase agreement held by the E.I.D. for the
purchase of the original Rolling Hills School & Site for
the sum of $4312.0$.

Moved by Councillor Plumer that the offer of the EID to
sell the County the teacherage at Duchess be refused.

Correspondence regarding Civil Defence was ordered filed.

Mr. Chris Christenson met the Council with regard to the
bridge across Matziwin Creek adjacent to his land. It
was recommended that the Road Foreman, Geo. Winter bring
it to the District Engineers attention when making road
inspections.

A delegation of I'lessrs. Minor Murray, L. Trinuner, C.
Gleddie, Carl Anderson and three others attended to present
a petition with regard to the use of T1108011 in the County
for the destruction of coyotes.
Moved by Councillor Ockey, that the Council authorize the
use of 1110801/ within the boundaries of the County, only
under the strict supervision of the Provincial Government,
and to be located only by Provincial Government Pest
Officers.
Carried.
School Committee Report
Moved by Councillor Arrison, that the School Committeeb
recommendation with regard to the School Superintendent
attending Council meetings for advice on School matters
be concurred in.

Aericultural Service Board Report
The Secretary was directed to write the Alberta Associ-
ation of Municipal Districts with a view to having them
handle "M.0 .P ." ✓

Councillor Arrison reported on the Weed Conference held
in Edmonton.

Municipal Committee Report
Moved by Councillor Ockey that an Allis Chalmers A.D. 40
Motor Grader be ordered in accordance with the Committee's
recommendation.

be purchased for use in the County shop at an approximate
price of $400.00, installed.

authorized to contact the architect of the Gleichen School
