Minutes of the Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
February 25, 1991
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Monday, February 25, 1991 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1. Excused from Meeting
Moved by E. Buday that we excuse Councillor Bulger from this
meeting. Carried.
2• Minutes
Minutes of the January 17, 1991 meeting were presented. Moved
by Councillor Wallace that we adopt these minutes as circulated.

3• Business from Minutes
There was no business arising from the minutes.
4• Permits
1. ~~957 - W.J. Siemens - Mobile Home - NW 32-20-15-4
Pt. Parcel "A" Plan 6564 E.T. - Rosemary
After review, it was moved by Councillor Wallace that we approve
this application and proceed with the necessary advertising.
Carried.
5• Land Use Changes
1. Ray Kimmel - NE 9-20-13-4 - Agriculture to Countr Residence
Application from Ray Kimmel was presented and after discussion,
it was moved by G. Niznik that cie approve this application and
recommend it to County Council for approval. Carried.

6• Home Occupation Licences
1. ~~20 - Douglas Jacobsen - Light Mechanical Service
Block 3 Plan 7710951 - Cassils
After review, it was moved by G. Niznik that we approve this
application with the condition that all equipment and items on
this property be contained in an orderly manner and that we proceed
with the necessary advertising. Carried.
2. ~~21 - Agnes Jensen - Bed & Breakfast - NE 12-20 14 4 Millicent
After review, it was moved by E. Buday that we approve this
application and proceed with the necessary advertising. Carried.
3. 422 - Maureen Renard - Bed & Breakfast
Lot 2 Block 1 Plan 8211747 - Brooks
After review, it was moved by Councillor Wallace that we approve
this application and proceed with the necessary advertising.
Carried.
7. Subdivisions
1. 91 SE 6 - R. & L. Kimmel
After review, it was moved by Councillor Wallace that we table
this application until our next M.P.C. meeting. Carried.
2. 91 SE 8 - Murray Ranches Ltd.
Moved by Councillor Wells that he be excused from discussion
and voting on this item. Carried.
E. Buday took over the chair as Vice Chairman.
After review, it was moved by G. Niznik that we approve this
application subject to consolidation of Title and that we
recommend it to County Council for final approval. Carried.
Councillor Wells returned to the meeting and took over the chair.
8. Other Business
1. Proposed By-laws - M.P.C. & D.A.B.
Doug Fleming presented revised By-laws for the M.P.C. & D.A.B.
for the Commission to review and discuss further at the next
meeting.
9. Development Report
The Development Report for January & February was submitted to
the Commission. Moved by E. Buday that we accept this report.
Carried.
10. Adjourn
Moved by Councillor Wallace that this meeting adjourn at 2:45 p.m.
Carried.
