Minutes of Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
April 30, 1991
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, April 30, 1991 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1• Minutes
Minutes of the March 19, 1991 meeting were presented. Moved
by Councillor Bulger that we adopt these minutes as circulated.
Carried.
2• Business from Minutes
1. 91 SE 6 - Kimmel Subdivision
Chairman Wells advised that the Planning Commission has tabled
this application.
3• Permits
1. ~~968 - Peter Tilma - Moved-in Mobile Home & Entry
SE 5-19-15-4 - Cassils
After review, it was moved by E. Buday that we approve this
application and proceed with the necessary advertising. Carried.
2. #970 - Sierra Collision & Frame - Auto Body Repairs
Lot 5 Plan 7710081 - Brooks
After review, it was moved by Councillor Bulger that we approve
this application and proceed with the necessary advertising.
Carried.
3. 4971 - Violet Gosling - Mobile Home
Lot 4 Block 3 Plan 8111991 - Bassano
After review, it was moved by Councillor Wallace that we approve
this application and proceed with the necessary advertising.
Carried.
4. ~k975 - First Quality Greenhouses - Erect New Greenhouses
NW 27-18-14-4 -Brooks
After review, it was moved by G. Niznik that we approve this
application and proceed with the necessary advertising. Carried.
4• Land Use Changes
No applications were presented.
5. Home Occupation Licences
1. ~~23 - Leslie Lee Closs - Home Occupation Crafts Business
NW 33-16-16-4 - Rainier
After review, it was moved by E. Buday that we approve this
application. Carried.
2. ~~24 - Joachim Woehr - Home Occupation Landscaping Business
NW 33-16-16-4 - Rainier
After review, it was moved by Councillor Wallace that we approve
this application. Carried.
6. Subdivisions
1. 91 SE 19 - Terris Diesel Ltd.
After review, it was moved by Councillor Bulger that we approve
this application subject to a Servicing Agreement with the County
for access and that the application be recommended to County
Council for final approval. Carried.
2. 91 SE 22 - Ethel Bahler
After review, it was moved by E. Buday that we approve this application
and recommend it to County Council for final approval. Carried.
3. 91 SE 28 - Stan Dahl Construction
After review, it was moved by G. Niznik that we approve this
application, that Public Reserve be deferred to Lot 3 and that
this subdivision will not be registered until such time as the
shop is removed from the present site. Carried.
7. Other Business
1. Permit Applications
Discussion took place in regard to the sketch drawings that are
provided with the applications.
2. Cassils Road Area Structure Plan
Doug Fleming advised of the changes that have been made to this
Plan at this time.
8. Development Report
The Development Report for April was presented to the Commission.
9. Adjourn
Moved by Councillor Wallace that this meeting adjourn at 2;30 p.m.
Carried.
