Minutes of the Special Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
September 11, 1991
A Special Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Wednesday, September 11, 1991 commencing at 3:30 p.m.

1. Letter to Call Special Meeting
The letter to call a special meeting of the Municipal Planning
Commission for September 11, 1991 is attached to, and forms part
of, these minutes.
2. Waiver of Notice
The Waiver of Notice for the special Municipal Planning Commission
Meeting is atached to, and forms part of, these minutes.
3. Subdivision Application 91 SE 58
Mr. Cecil Blair and Mr. Nick Salonka attended the meeting and
presented a new drawing for the proposed subdivision which has
increased the size of all of the proposed lots to 20,000 sq. ft.
or more. It was also indicated that Lot 7 would be set aside
for a utility lot for the water service for this proposed sub-
division.
Information on the percolation and water table tests for each
of the proposed lots was presented to the Commission. A letter
from the Plumbing Inspector, giving his approval, was presented.
Further discussion then took place in regard to this proposed
subdivision on set-back regulations being the same as Hamlet
Residential, water service to the area for surface irrigation,
and the water system which is located within the present subdivision.
Moved by Councillor Bulger that we recommend approval of this
subdivision and that this recommendation be forwarded to County
Council for final approval, giving note to all of the above
conditions. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Bulger that the present Water Users group
receive consideration in their investment of the present system
when the new water system is put into place. Carried.
4. Adjourn
Moved by Councillor Wallace that this meeting adjourn at 4:30 p.m.
Carried.
