Minutes of the Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
December 17, 1991
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, December 17, 1991 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1• Minutes
Minutes of the November 26, 1991 Organizational Meeting were
presented. Moved by Councillor Wallace that we adopt these
minutes as circulated. Carried.

There was no business arising from the minutes.
3• Permits
1. 91036 - Brooks Motorcycle Club - Motocross Track
SE 17-18-14-4 - Brooks
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to this
application. After a lengthy discussion, it was moved by
Councillor Bulger that we refuse this application as it was felt
that this development would not be compatible with the adjacent
landfill site. Other objections were also received in regard
to this Permit. Carried.

1. 91 SE 96 - Baksa
After discussing this application with Mr. & Mrs. Baksa, it was
• moved by E. Buday that this application be tabled for more information
_'~"_ and that we request a scale drawing of the proposed parcel which
would show all of the developments, the lagoon, the location
of the proposed house, and any trees and shelterbelts. Carried.
2. 91 SE 99 - D ck
Mr. Dyck attended the meeting and a review was made of his proposed
subdivision. After discussion, it was moved by G. Niznik that we
approve this proposed subdivision subject to a Service Agreement
for a joint road approach for the two parcels. Carried.
3. Home Occupation Licence ~~28 - Milder
Mr. Milder attended the meeting and presented information on
this Home Occupation Licence for a tree farm and storage of one
truck (location of property - SE 6-19-14-4 Lot 1 Block A 1774 L.K.).
After review, it was moved by Councillor Bulger that we approve
this application and the storage of one tractor trailer, only,
on this property and that we carry out the necessary advertising
for this Permit. Carried.

8. Other Business
1. Meeting Date
Moved by E. Buday that the January 28th meeting be moved to
January 21st due to the A.S.B. Convention on January 28th.
Carried.
9• Development Report
The Development Report for December was presented. Moved by
Councillor Wallace that we accept this report. Carried.
10. Adjourn
Moved by Councillor Bulger that the meeting adjourn at 3:00 p.m.
Carried.
