June 30, 1993
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County of Newell #4 was held in the
County Office at Brooks, Alberta on Wednesday, June 30, 1993 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

2. Minutes
Minutes of the May 25, 1993 meeting were presented. Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that
we adopt these minutes as circulated. Carried.
Minutes of the June 8, 1993 special meeting were presented. Moved by G. Niznik that we adopt
~- these minutes as circulated. Carried.
3. Business from Minutes
There was no business arising from the minutes.
4. Permits
1. #1150 -Chris Sparrow -Mobile Home - NE 23-16.16-4 -Rainier
Information was presented and it was then moved by Councillor Barg that we approve this Permit
~ and proceed with the necessary advertising. Carried.

5. Land Use Changes

1. Ivan H. Wigemyr - SW 31-18-15.4 -Brooks -Agriculture to Country Residence
Information was presented to the Commission an this proposed Land Use Change. As insufficient
information was available at this time, it was moved by Councillor Scheuerman that we table this
item for more information and invite Mr. Wigemyr to our next M.P.C. meeting. Carried.
6. Home Occupation Licences
1. #35 - Gleddie Ranchwear -Western Wear Sales • SW 25-17-13.4 • Tilley
Information was presented on this item and it was moved by Councillor Loewen that we approve _.
this application and carry out the necessary advertising. Carried.
2. #36 -Kathy Barg -Sale of Crafts - SW 4-20-14.4 • Brooks
Moved by Councillor Barg that he be excused from discussion and voting on this item. Carried.

7. Subdivisions
1. 93 SE 20 • Gallus
This item remained tabled.
2. 93 SE 30 -Gallup
This item remained tabled.
Land Use Change -Gallup
A new Land Use Change was presented to cover subdivision applications 93 SE 20 & 93 SE 30.
After further discussion, it was moved by Councillor Barg that we approve this Land Use Change
and recommend it to County Council for final approval. Carried.

After review, it was moved by Councillor l.oewen that we approve this application and
recommend it to County Council for final approval. Carried.
4. 93 SE 49 -Nielsen - Pt. SE 4-17-13-4
After review, it was moved by G. Niznik that we approve this application and recommend it to
County Council for final approval. Carried.
5. 93 SE 57 - Fu~moto • Pt. NW 22-16-16-4

8. Other Business
1. Planning Profile
A Planning Profile Newsletter was presented to the M.P.C. for information from .the Southeast
Alberta Regional Planning Commission.
9. Development Resort
The Development Report for the month of June was presented. Moved by Councillor Barg that
we accept this report. Carried.
