BYLAW 1956-19
A BYLAW OF THE COUNTY OF NEWELL FOR THE PURPOSE OF CLOSING TO PUBLIC TRAVEL AND
LEASING OF PORTIONS OF A PUBLIC ROADWAY IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 22 OF THE
MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ACT, REVISED STATUTES OF ALBERTA 2000, CHAPTER M-26, AS
AMENDED.
WHEREAS,the lands hereafter described are no longer required for public travel, and
WHEREAS application has been made to Council to have the roadway closed, and ,
WHEREAS the Council of the County of Newell deems it expedient to provide for a bylaw for the purpose of
closing to public travel certain roads, or portions thereof situated in the said municipality, and thereafter
LEASING of same, and
WHEREAS notice of the intention of Council to pass a bylaw has been given in accordance with Section 606
of the Municipal Government Act, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta
does hereby close to public travel and offering the following described roadway for LEASE, subject to rights
of access granted by other legislation:

WEST BOUNDARY OF THE
NORTHWEST QUARTER SECTION 24,
TOWNSHIP 23, RANGE 18,WEST OF THE aTH MERIDIAN EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND
MINERALS AND THE RIGHT TO WORK THE SAME
CONTAINING 1.619 HECTARES(4.00 ACRES)MORE OR LESS
AREA2
ALL THAT PORTION OF THE ORIGINAL GOVERNMENT ROAD ALLOWANCE ADJACENT TO THE
WEST BOUNDARY OF THE
SOUTHWEST QUARTER SECTION 24,
TOWNSHIP 23, RANGE 18,WEST OF THE arH MERIDIAN
WHICH LIES TO THE NORTH OF THE SOUTH WESTERLY PRODUCTION OF THE NORTH WESTERN
LIMIT OF RESERVOIR PLAN 831 1788 ACROSS SAID ROAD ALLOWANCE
EXCEPTING THEREOUT ALL MINES AND MINERALS AND THE RIGHT TO WORK l'HE SAME
CONTAINING 0.970 HECTARES(2.40 ACRES) MORE OR LESS
