MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
July 9, 2015
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County of Newell was held in the
County Office at Brooks, AB on Thursday, July 9, 2015 commencing at 10:00 a.m.

P-66/15 MOVED BY COUNCILLOR B. DE JONG that the minutes of the June 25, 2015
Municipal Planning Commission meeting be adopted as presented.

6. DEVELOPMENT REPORT
a) Permitted Use Report-June 1-30, 2015
The Development Clerk provided background information on the Development Report.
There were no questions from MPC.
P-68/15 MOVED BY COUNCILOR M. DOUGLASS that the Development Report be adopted as
presented.

7. SUBDIVISIONS
a) 2015-0-099 -SE 27-20-12-W4M, To create one (1) new vacant parcel approximately 3.0
acres (1.21 ha) in size from an unsubdivided quarter section for residential use.
The County Planner provided background information on the proposed application.
There were no questions from MPC.
P-69/15 MOVED BY COUNCILLOR A.M. PHILIPSEN that the Country Residential subdivision of
SE1/4 27-20-12-W4M to create one (1) new vacant parcel approximately 3.0 acres (1.21
ha) in size from an unsubdivided quarter section for residential use be APPROVED
subject to the following:
1. That all outstanding property taxes shall be paid to the County of Newell.
