HomeMy WebLinkAbout2058-23 23 LUA 005 Hamlet BoundariesCOUNTY OF NEWELL IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA BYLAW NO. 2058-23 BEING a bylaw of the County of Neweil in the Province of Alberta, to amend the Land Use Maps of Bylaw No. 2016-21, being the Land Use Bylaw; WHEREAS the Council of the County of Newell will consider Bylaw 2058-23 for the purpose of redesignating specific lands within the municipality associated with the revised Hamlet boundaries of the Municipal Development Plan (Bylaw 2057-23). AND WHEREAS the municipality must prepare an amending bylaw and provide for its consideration at a public hearing. NOW THEREFORE, under the authority and subject to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, Statutes of Alberta, Chapter M-26, 2000, as amended, the Council of the County of Newell in the Province of Alberta duly assembled does hereby enact the following: 1. That lands legally described as: i. A PORTION OF NORTHEAST SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 17, RANGE 13, WEST OF THE 4T" MERIDIAN; ii. PLAN 0813191, BLOCK 1, LOT 1; iii. PLAN 0111253, BLOCK 1, LOT 2; iv. PLAN 0111253, BLOCK 1, LOT 3; v. PLAN 8110850, LOT 1 shall be included in the Hamlet of Tilley boundary and redesignated from Rural, Residential to Hamlet, Residential (approximately 1.73 hectares), as illustrated on the map in Schedule `A'. 2. That lands legally described as: i. A PORTION OF NORTHWEST SECTION 31, TOWNSHIP 14, RANGE 13, WEST OF THE 4T" MERIDIAN shall be included in the Hamlet of Rolling Hills boundary and redesignated from Rural, Business to Hamlet, Business (approximately 0.21 hectares), as illustrated on the map in Schedule `B'. 3. That lands legally described as: i. A PORTION OF SOUTHEAST SECTION 14, TOWNSHIP 17, RANGE 17, WEST OF THE 4T" MERIDIAN shall be included within the Hamlet of Bow City boundary and redesignated from Agriculture, General to Special, Parks and Public Services (approximately 9.2 hectares), as illustrated on the map in Schedule `C'. 4. The Land Use District Map shall be amended to reflect this redesignation. 5. Bylaw No. 2016-21 is hereby amended and consolidated. 6.
