Special Council Meeting
June 17, 1981
A Special Council Meeting of the County of Newell No. 4 was held
in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta on Wednesday, June 17, 1981
commencing at 4:00 p.m.
Letter from the Reeve calling for the Special Meeting is attached
to and forms part of these minutes.
Waiver of Notice of Meeting is attached to and forms part of
these minutes.

Planning Application 81 SE 70
The Administrator presented further information to Council in
regard to the legal survey required on this subdivision. Moved
by Councillor Andrews that we proceed with the necessary legal
survey for registration of title for this planning application.
Carried.
2. Rolling Hills Water & Sewer - Engineering Contract
The Engineering Contract from Sma11 Community Engineering Services
for the proposed Rolling Hills Water & Sewer System was presented
to the Council. After a lengthy discussion on this contract it
was moved by Councillor Wallace that we approve this contract subject
to Item 7 of the General Terms being deleted from the contract.
Carried.
3. Rolling Hills Water & Sewer System
General discussion took place in regard to the present position of
this proposed project and the financing of same.
4. Rolling Hills Subdivision
General discussion took place on this subdivision and the financing
of same.
5. Patricia Water & Sewer Extension - Tenders
The Administrator advised that tenders would be opened at 2:00 p.m.
on June 18,1981.
6. Ocelot Industries - Consent for Wellsite
Request from Ocelot Industries Ltd, for wellsite location in
SE 24 & NE 24-I8-13-4 was presented to the Council. Moved by Council
Fabian that we approve this application. Carried.
7. Regional Plan - Draft Policy
Copy of the Regional Plan Draft Policy papers was presented to
Council for their information.

734-81, receive first reading. Carried Unanimously.
Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that By-law 749-81 receive second
reading. Carried Unanimously.
Moved by Councillor Fabian that By-law 749-81 receive consent of
Council for third and final reading. Carried Unanimously.
Moved by Councillor Hajash that By-law 749-81 receive third and
final reading. Carried Unanimously.
9. Unity Park
The Reeve presented information in regard to this proposed Park
and a proposal for a Feasibility Study to be undertaken for this
Park. ~o further decision was made by Council at this meeting.
