Reconvened Council Meeting
October 10, 1978
The reconvened Council Meeting of the County of Newell No. 4 was
held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta on Tuesday, October 10,
1978 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

they may wish to make on Item 7 of
Agreement.

Carried.
Motion - Moved that we offer to amend Item 7 of the Agreement
whereas the vendor would have option to purchase back the gravel
pit area at a value not exceeding $200.00 per acre.
Moved by Councillor Vogel that the motion be amended by deleting
"option" and adding "first right of approval". Carried.
Moved by Councillor Bartlett that the motion be amended by adding
"if the vendor does not exercise his first right of refusal, he
shall have no further claim on the Agreement, and the County may
dispose of the land as it sees fit." Carried.
Moved by Councillor Fabian that the motion be amended by deleting
"$200.00" and adding "$100.00". Vote on the amendment - lost.
Vote on the amended motion - lost.
