Special Council Meeting
February 20, 1978
A special Council Meeting of the County of Newell No. 4 was held
in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta on Monday, February 20/7$
commencing at 4:00 p.m.

Waiver of Notice of Meeting for Special Council Meeting is attached
to, and forms part of, these minutes.
This Special Meeting was called for a general discussion on the
Public Works Shop operation and ratification of the C.U.P.E.
Memorandum of Agreement.
. Members of the Shop Personnel•met.with the Council and discussion
toPk place~x~.~ ~sh~operation. Following this, the Public Works
Su ervisor) me i t e Council and a general
discussion on the operation of the Shop took place.
The Council discussed the matter further and the subject was
tabled for further study and review at a future meeting.

': C.U.P.E. Memorandum
The Memorandum of Agreement for the C.U.P.E. Public Works Contract
was presented to the Council and after presentation and discussion
on the Memorandum, it was moved by Councillor Bartlett that we
'~ ratify this Memorandum of Agreement. Carried
Meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
