A special Council Meeting of the County of Newell No. 4 was called
for 3:00 p.m. September 6, 1977.

Waiver of Notice of Meeting
Waiver of Notice of Meeting for the Special County Council Meeting
called for 3:00 p.m. September 6, 1977 to discuss Ambulance Service
is attached to and forms part of these minutes.
Delegation from the Town of Brooks, being Councillors Don Murray,
Chris Dunsmore, and Mayor Nelson and the Ambulance Director J. Brownlee,
met with Council to discuss the purchase of new ambulances for
the Ambulance Operation within the Town and County of Newell.
After a lengthy discussion on this matter, it was moved by Councillor
Habash that we assist in the purchase of two new modular unit
ambulances and that we trade the 1975 Dodge and that this be in
conjunction with the Town of Brooks and other contributing
municipalities as per the Ambulance Agreement. Carried.
