County of Newell & Town of Brooks
Joint Ambulance Meeting
May 4, 1976
Meeting of the representatives from the County of N,6weII, Town
of Brooks and Town of Bassano met at the County Office on May 4, 1976
to discuss the proposed amendments to the Ambulance Budget as
presented by the Paramedic.
Waver of Notice of Meeting for this Joint Meeting is attached to,
and forms part of, these minutes.
Reeve Musgrove acted as Chairman for thism~eting. _

Meeting commenced at 7:30 p.m. -`~ "~

The Committee discussed the proposed revision to the 1976 Ambulance
Budget a~ presented by the Paramedic.
At 8:30 p.m. Mr. nary Alford met with the Committee and answered
questions concerning the proposed amendments. After considerable
discussion on the matter, Mr. Alford retired from the meeting at
T1:00 p.m. and the Committee continued discussion on the Ambulance
Budget.
Moved by Councillor Brockelsby that no change be made to the original
Ambulance Budget for 1976. Carried.
Discussion then took place on the Ambulance rates to be charged to
Hospital Transfers, Towns & Villages within the County, Town of
Brooks, County of Newell and non-participating persons. After
discussion on this matter, it was agreed that this item he tabled
for further study as to the total use of the Ambulance by the various
categories mentioned.
Meeting adjourned at 12:00 midnight.
