The Special Council Meeting of the County of Newell No. 4 was held
in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta on Monday, April 28, 1975.

20'7. Public Works Grievance Committee
Moved by Councillor Vogel that the Administrator choose three members
from the C.U.P.E. Negotiating Committee when required for any
grievance on the Public Works Contract, Carried.
A report was given on the C.U.P.E. Grievance re: hours of work.
208. Road Ban

roads. Moved by Councillor Bartlett that C. Trifanenko and L. Reitz

be designated as road ban By-law Enforcement Officers. Carried.

210. Bu~ dget
A review was made of the draft copy of the 1975 Budget.
Moved by Councillor Hajash that we provide for a gravel truck in the
1975 Budget. Motion Lost.
Moved by Councillor Christensen that we provide for the purchase of
mobile radios in the 1975 Budget. Motion Lost.
Moved by Councillor Janzen that we set up a contingency reserve of
X75000.00 in the 1975 Budget. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Fabian that we increase the road work allotment
by X100.00 per mile, for 1975• Carried.
Moved by Councillor Janzen that we recover 50~ of the 197. deficit
in lq'75. Motion Lost.
