The regular Council Meeting of the County of Newell No. 4 was held
in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta on Friday, July 9, 1971 at
10:00 a.m.

Moved by Councillor Hall that the motion of June 18th re: sale of
1400 yds. of pit run gravel from the Bassano Pit, be rescinded.
Carried.
Moved by Councillor Hall that we accept the Financial Report for
the month of June. Carried.

Line Assessments, was read anal ordered filed.

Subdivision, was read and ordered filed until such time that

Letter from Alberta Alfalfa Products Ltd. re: the purchase of lease
of road allowance in 18-14-4, was read. Moved by Councillor Musgrove
' that we proceed with selling or leasing of this road allowance to
Alberta Alfalfa Products Ltd. Carried.

Letter from Brooks & District Band re: donation, was read. Moved
by Councillor Janzen that we do not support this request. Moved by
Councillor Andrews that we table this request for one month. Carried.
