I~ioved by Councillor Hajash that we approve this application for an open cut subject to 18" of cover being placed over this pipe, v that a 66' 18" solid steel pipe be used, and that the E.I.D. be responsible for all repairs caused by this installation. Correspondence from the Department of Mines and Minerals re Surface Reclamation Act and appointment of a member from this County, was discussed. Moved b,y Councillor Janzen. that we appoint Jim Hajash to this Reclamation Board and Alex Chrumka be appointed as an alternate member. Carried. . . Letter from Jubilee Insurance Agencies Ltd. re: Insurance,was read and ordered filed. Letter from the Alberta Municipal Finance Corporation, re: 1971 Annual Meeting was read. Moved by Councillor Bartlett that we do not send a member to this Meeting this .year. Carried. . . Letter from the Newell Foundation advising of the County's 1971 Requisition. in the amount of $6712.81 was read. Moved by Councillor Musgrove that we accept this Requisition for 1971. Carried. . . Report from the Alberta Assessment Equalization Board setting out our 1971 Equalized Assessment in the amount of $1b,493,620.00 was read. Moved by Councillor Janzen that we accept this report.
